Assembly

The post is supplied in two pieces: a base and a short upright. These simply slot together and are tightened using the grub screws supplied. The lamp sits on a bracket that slips over the spiggot at the top of the upright. The bracket and lamp are held fast with bolts.

Triangular base has three holes in order for the lamp post to be bolted into a concrete pad.

Maintenance

The post is finished with a gloss paint that will delay the weathering process, but as with all cast iron products it will develop it's own unique patina over time.

Whilst most prefer the weathered look, the post can be restored at any time through priming/painting.

The copper in the lamp will also develop and slightly darken, but can be polished back if the weathering is not left to become too severe.

Provision has been made, however, for a lamp to be hung pendant style by passing wiring up through a hollowed up support in the lamp top.
