Assembly
The post is supplied in two pieces: a 35cm base and a 1.5m upright. The upright simply slots into the base and is secured into place using the bolts supplied. A base plate at the bottom of the lamp simply bolts on to the upright.
Given the bases size, this lamp post can free stand, but looped connectors on the inside means the post can also be bolted onto a concrete pad.
Maintenance
As with all cast iron products, this lamppost will weather through exposure to the elements. The lamp and post can be primed and painted to maintain or restore a uniform finish.
