Staddle Stones
Staddle Stones were originally used to raise barns & granaries. This prevented rats and mice from climbing into the buildings and ensured damp didn’t damage crops/products.
Staddle stones are now a popular garden ornament, although they are still used in a functional capacity. For instance, our sister company Roundwood Construction use them to support pillars in the oak framed buildings they supply.
