Assembly

The post is supplied in two pieces: a base and a short upright. These simply slot together and are tightened using the grub screws supplied. The lamp sits on a bracket that slips over the spiggot at the top of the upright. The bracket and lamp are held fast with bolts.

Triangular base has three holes in order for the lamp post to be bolted into a concrete pad.

Maintenance

As with all cast iron and copper products, the post and lamp will weather through exposure to the elements. The post can be primed and painted to maintain or restore a uniform finish. The lamp can be polished back at any time, as long as it is not permitted to weather for too long a period.

Provision has been made, however, for a lamp to be hung pendant style by passing wiring up through a hollowed up support in the lamp top.
