Woodburning Stoves
Cast iron multi-fuel & wood burning stoves are an increasingly popular method of generating heat for the home. In addition to being environmentally friendly, particularly when used with sustainably sourced fuel, they bring a great deal of character to any room. Our stoves are cast in heavy duty iron and finished to a very high specification.
Installation
As our focus is on achieving value by importing a wide range of cast iron products, we do not carry out installations of wood stoves or provide extensive technical advice.

Whilst each stove is supplied with detailed instructions, it is imperative that installation is carried out by an experienced and reputable team. Most problems that occur following the use of newly fitted stoves arise from incorrect fitting, such as inadequate air supply and incorrectly sealed flue systems. As such, the onus to provide ongoing guidance lies very much with the installation team.
Flue
This boiler is not supplied with a flue. Correct flue installation is vital for the efficient and safe operation of this stove and should be carried out by a suitably qualified team. The flue outlet of this stove is 115mm (internal diameter).
Fuel
The term ‘Multi-Fuel’ refers to any of the main commercially available solid fuels such as coal, wood, turf, anthracite and briquettes. Never use liquid fuels such as oil or kerosene when lighting or refreshing this fire.

The maximum output of this stove is approximately a powerful 5KW.

The approximate calorific (Heat) value of the most common fuels is:
Turf or Peat: 4.0 kWh/kg
Briquettes: 5.3 kWh/kg
Wood: 5.5 kWh/kg (based on dry hard wood)
Brown Coal Nuggets: 5.8 kWh/kg
Standard Coal: 7.9kWh/kg
Initial Operation
To prevent cracking, you should begin using your stove by lighting small fires which get progressively bigger. We recommend a series of about 5 small fires before you put the stove into full service. Allow the stove to fully cool between each of these fires.
Maintenance
The exterior of our stoves should only be cleaned using a non abrasive damp cloth, as some cleaning products may leave stains on the surface. Should you wish to fully restore the finish, a good quality, high temperature stove paint can simply be used, (such as those supplied by Hotspot).

The interior is also easy to maintain, with this model featuring a raised burning grill fitted with a shaker grate to facilitate the removal of ash.
